Risen Energy’s TOPCon Rectangular Wafer Modules are in Mass Production and Shipment
Recently, Risen Energy announced the commencement of mass production for TOPCon rectangular wafer modules based on the 182.2x191.6mm silicon wafer size in August and began shipping to Southeast Asia, Europe as well as other markets by the end of the month. Following a joint statement with several leading industry enterprises on the consensus over a unified size for the new generation of rectangular wafer modules and silicon wafers in July and August this year, Risen Energy has taken the initiative a step further with practical actions. Its rapid response and high-quality products and services received unanimous praise and recognition from customers.
As an internationally influential module manufacturer in the PV industry, Risen Energy has always practiced what it conveys and taken tangible actions to promote the industry to realize sustainable development and meet the ever-expanding green energy demands of the end market. In recent years, Risen Energy has pioneered the development, mass production and application of the n-type heterojunction (HJT) technology in the industry. Now the company has mastered key technologies such as ultra-thin wafers, low-silver pastes, 0BB cells, as well as stress-free Hyper-link interconnection technology etc., through continuous in-depth research and investment in materials, processes and equipment. The upgraded HJT module, Hyper-ion, with mass production power over 700Wp, has gained significant attention and popularity among customers, with a cumulative signed order volume exceeding 5GW and cumulative shipments exceeding 150MW since its launch.
The introduction of n-type TOPCon rectangular wafer products not only align with the industry’s unified development principles but also enhances and enriches the n-type product portfolio of Risen Energy. In addition to the high-efficiency 700Wp+ n-type HJT product, this TOPCon rectangular wafer product effectively supplements the power range of n-type modules from 450Wp to 650Wp, providing customers with more diversified product solutions. Compared to conventional M10 wafer TOPCon products, Risen Energy’s rectangular wafer TOPCon module offers approximately 30Wp higher power output while maintaining the same module width, thereby maximizing the utilization of 40-feet high container with stacked pallets packaging, increasing the container loading power and reducing transportation costs per watt. Under the same conditions, compared to conventional M10 wafer TOPCon products, this rectangular wafer module offers higher string power that can effectively reduce the support bracket, cable, foundation, and installation costs per watt, lowering the balance-of-system (BOS) cost and levelized cost of energy (LCOE).
Risen Energy will uphold the concept of
continuous exploration, research and development, and utilize more innovative
technologies to drive the implementation of more scientific and efficient photovoltaic
solutions, helping the industry advance towards higher latitudes and contribute
to a more valuable green future.
